The National Ranching Heritage Center Support Fund provides funding toward the National Ranching Heritage Center’s mission: To preserve and interpret the history of ranching in North America and address contemporary ranching issues.

By supporting the NRHC’s mission, you ensure that real ranching stories, traditions, and historical artifacts are shared with visitors of all ages. Your support directly impacts the preservations and maintenance of more than 55 historical ranching structures, seven permanent and rotating galleries, the Cash Family Ranch Life Learning Center featuring Hank the Cowdog, and a variety of educational programming, publications, seminars, family-oriented events and outreach.

How You Can Make an Impact

Everything you see and experience through the National Ranching Heritage Center is made possible through donors like you. Your gift helps share the real stories about real ranches and real ranching heritage to more than 60,000 visitors a year through public programming, historical preservation, and education initiatives.

Challenge

During Texas Tech University’s Day of Giving, your gift to the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) Support Fund can do even more, thanks to the Ranching Heritage Association (RHA) Board of Directors. The RHA Board challenges 30 generous donors to contribute to the NRHC Support Fund. When this goal is reached, the Board will match your gifts with a $5,000 contribution.

Partnering with the Board’s match gift will help preserve rich ranching history, support educational programs, and ensure the National Ranching Heritage Center continues to thrive for future generations. Your contribution, combined with the Board’s match, will make an even greater impact to the NRHC’s mission.
