Description
Texas Tech Parents Association 2025 "Rally Together" Initiative is to provide multiple programs and events that keep the connection between students and families strong. Strong family bonds and connections back home are a vital part in student success. TTPA strives to support this success through new on-campus events, volunteer initiatives and strategic out-reach to students and families.
This year’s "Rally Together" Initiative will:
- Launch two on-campus “connect-home” postcard events to reinforce ties with family and home.
- Provide care packages for students, including those who lack family support.
- Host additional programs and events designed to create a sense of belonging and community for students and their families.
As an independent, non-profit organization, TTPA funds these services, events and scholarships solely from membership dues, fundraisers, donor gifts and local sponsorships. TTPA is a volunteer-driven organization, with a small on-campus staff; and a donation to the TTPA Fund for Excellence 2025 Initiative will have a direct correlation to how many students we can successfully impact with our new on-campus events and volunteer initiative.
For almost 70 years, the Texas Tech Parents Association has offered programs, services, events, and outreach to the families of Texas Tech students. TTPA collaborates with Parent and Family Relations, Undergraduate Admissions, Housing and Student Success to provide, on and off campus, events for parents to connect with their students and the university. TTPA awards over $60,000.00, annually in student scholarships through our TTPA Endowed Scholarship Program, Ambassador Scholarship Award and Volunteer Scholarship Initiatives. As an independent, non-profit organization, TTPA funds these services, events and scholarships solely from membership dues, fundraisers, donor gifts and local sponsorships. TTPA is a volunteer-driven organization, with a small on-campus staff. We are forever grateful to our members, volunteers and donors that continue to help us fulfill our mission.
